Et brændstoffilter er et filter i en brændstofledning, der filtrerer snavs og rustpartikler fra brændstoffet, og er normalt lavet til patroner, der indeholder et filterpapir. De findes i de fleste forbrændingsmotorer. Brændstoffiltre spiller en vigtig rolle i nutidens moderne motorbrændstofsystemer. Et ikke-filtreret brændstof kan indeholde flere typer forurenende stoffer, såsom malingsspåner og snavs, der bankes ind i tanken ved påfyldning, eller rust forårsaget af fugt i en ståltank, hvilket kan beskadige brændstofsystemet, hvorfor et brændstoffilter er vigtigt.
